At First Coast Grant Solutions, I support nonprofits, community-based organizations, schools, and colleges in achieving their funding goals through strategic grant consulting. I understand the unique challenges these organizations face and offer flexible, customized support to meet their specific needs.
My approach to grant consulting is shaped by more than a decade of hands-on experience working inside nonprofit and public education organizations.
I spent over 10 years in nonprofit leadership, serving as an in-house grant writer for a large, multi-service nonprofit where I managed the full grant lifecycle—from prospect research and proposal development to funder reporting and compliance.
From 2009 to 2022, I worked within the California Community Colleges system, managing all aspects of federal and state workforce development and career technical education grants including the Carl D. Perkins Career & Technical Education Act (Perkins V), Doing What Matters for Jobs & the Economy Initiative, and Strong Workforce Program (SWP). This included program planning, grant writing, implementation, compliance, reporting, and collaboration with education and workforce partners.
Since 2020, I’ve provided grant consulting support to organizations seeking flexible, experienced capacity. In February 2024, after relocating from California to Florida, I launched First Coast Grant Solutions to bring my experience to nonprofits, schools, and community-based organizations nationwide. I founded First Coast Grant Solutions to help organizations navigate the grant process with clarity and confidence—and to support meaningful work through thoughtful strategy, strong writing, and realistic planning.
